A bower is traditionally defined as “a pleasant shady place under trees or climbing plants in a

garden or wood”. That’s a gorgeous visual, isn’t it? Bowers offer a space for respite and can be

experienced as portals into a place where we are invited to feel the protection, security, and

love being offered to us. How can playing with tarot support us with building a bower for

ourselves? This workshop will offer participants the opportunity to experiment with a tarot

practice that creates a safe landing place for them to be with and explore the fullness of

themselves. Participants will be invited to stretch and expand, while also rooting deeply into the

earth beneath us. Our hope is that each person will end the workshop holding and held by the

love that lives inside of them, and with more knowing and trust about how to partner with tarot to

continue to grow that love, and to connect and relate to the world around them more from that

place.

open heart, desire to offer compassion, care, and patience to yourself, willingness to be present

with the unknown, and eagerness to have fun!
