Becca and Jack were a fairy tale of a couple, and we wanted our design to reflect that. Becca's sweet spirit and delicate color choices were the inspiration for her bouquet, which quickly became the star of the floral show. We nestled peach and pink blooms among brilliant, Kelly green greenery. The fresh, but timeless look popped against Becca's sweetheart neckline and Jack's preppy navy blue suit.
The couple was married in a traditional ceremony at The Point Church in Cary, where Bowerbird favorite Radian Photography worked their magic, which included an unusual request from Becca and Jack - put the cameras down once they meet each other at the altar. They said they wanted everyone to be totally present in the moment. How beautiful is THAT? We created two large arrangements with striking amaryllis to frame the couple in front of their loved ones.
After tying the knot, everyone went to the Cannon Room in Raleigh where we adorned the dining tables with potted plants. The look was simple, but comfortable and fresh.
Becca was wonderful at collaborating with me to achieve the simple but sophisticated feel she wanted to create for her loving friends and family.
We felt so fortunate to be trusted with this couple's vision on their big day. Cheers to a long and happy marriage!
